Extra guns sit on top of your class. Rank the job, not the shop art.

Weapons Tier List

Most Protect the Border gamepasses are extra weapons you carry on top of your normal loadout. That is why a cheap FAMAS can be smarter than a 399 Ray Gun you fire twice. This list ranks for booth control and night holds. Pair it with the classes tier list so you do not put an SVD on a player who never leaves the bumper.

Prices below are the live Robux tags as of mid-August 2026. The Evil Mafia can change them.

S tier

  • PKM (219) — 100-round belt, the honest lane holder
  • M249 (179) — squad gun, also the Juggernaut standard
  • 50 CAL (249) — anti-materiel for bosses that shrug off carbines

These three change a later Endless night. They cost attention as well as Robux: you have to stay on a lane.

A tier

  • SVD (149) — overwatch rifle, pairs with Ghillie
  • AS VAL (149) — suppressed, good when you do not want to announce the booth
  • HK416 (129) — fast tactical rifle, also the SAS primary
  • RPK (159) — lighter belt than PKM, still a hold gun
  • Minigun (199) — heavy extra; strong if you already have Infinite Ammo

B tier

  • FAMAS (99) — cheapest useful extra AR, also the Hazmat primary
  • TAR 21 (99) — bullpup, same job as FAMAS with a different feel
  • G36 (119) — another honest AR
  • SPAS 12 (99) — booth shotgun, poor at 80 meters
  • RPG (299) — burst on a clump or a boss, bad as a main

C tier

  • Ray Gun (399) — experimental energy, expensive for how often you should shoot it
  • Class sidearms (P226, Ruger SR9, Colt 1911, Desert Eagle) — you already have them when the class is equipped; do not buy a plan around the pistol

D tier

  • Duplicate rifles you already carry on the class (buying FAMAS as Hazmat, buying SVD as Ghillie) unless you want the extra on a different kit
  • Any gun you bought because a different border game used the same name

How to read a pass description

If the text says “carried on top of your normal loadout, every match,” it is an extra. If the text unlocks a class, it belongs on premium classes, not here. Special Forces + Spetsnaz, SAS, Frog Man, Hazmat, Pyromaniac, Ghillie, and Juggernaut are kits, not sidearms.

Role mapping

RoleFirst extra
BoothSPAS 12 or FAMAS

OverwatchSVD or 50 CAL
Lane holdPKM, M249, RPK

Then stop. Two extras are enough for most officers. The rest of the bank should go to a class or to ammo discipline. See loadouts for day versus night kits.

Economy note

A 99 Robux rifle that you fire every car is better value than a 399 novelty you save “for the boss” and then panic-dump on wave one. If you are still unlocking a locker class with gold, skip the shop entirely and read how to earn cash.

When you can name one extra gun for your role and explain why the Ray Gun is not that gun, you are done with this list. Next click is either gamepass ranks if you still have Robux, or back to the booth if you do not.

Shift FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers officers ask after every shift.

Does a weapon pass replace my class gun?

No. Most passes are extras on top of the locker loadout.

What is the best cheap gun?

FAMAS or TAR 21 at 99 Robux if you need an extra AR. SPAS 12 if you never leave the bumper.

Is the Ray Gun worth 399?

Only after you already have a class, ammo plan, and a real night rifle. It is C-tier value.

Should I buy SVD and Ghillie?

Ghillie already includes an SVD. Buy the class first if overwatch is your job.
