Protect the Border Classes Tier List
HP and a kit. The night cares about both.
Classes are locker kits with a stated HP and a standard pair of guns. Some can be earned with cash or gold. Juggernaut cannot. This list ranks night usefulness in a four-officer crew. For unlock paths, use earnable classes and premium classes. For extra rifles, use the weapons tier list.
HP numbers below come from the live pass text as of August 2026.
S tier
- Juggernaut (250 HP, M249 + Desert Eagle, 349 Robux, pass-only) — the only kit the store says you cannot earn. Stands in the lane when bosses grow.
- Ghillie Sniper (SVD + Desert Eagle, 350 Robux) — overwatch identity. Endless nights need someone who does not stand in the door.
A tier
- SAS Operator (170 HP, HK416 + P226, 350 Robux) — black kit, honest all-rounder
- Hazmat Soldier (165 HP, FAMAS + Colt 1911, 350 Robux) — sealed suit, strong booth rifle already included
- Special Forces / Spetsnaz (bundle 499 Robux) — two kits at once; value depends on whether your party needed both roles
B tier
- Frog Man (160 HP, suppressed AS VAL + Ruger SR9, 350 Robux) — quieter lane, less HP than SAS
- Pyromaniac (flamethrower, 350 Robux) — clumped approaches, poor at long overwatch
- Default / earnable starter kits — whatever the BETA lets you buy with gold. They are B if you aim and D if you treat them as a reason to skip night roles
C tier
- Fashion picks you cannot aim
- A second identical assault class when the party already has three ARs and no overwatch
How to use the rank
A four-officer ideal is not four Juggernauts. It is one heavy body, one overwatch, two booth/road kits. If nobody will spend Robux, four earnable classes with roles still beat one premium player who ignores IDs.
If you can only buy one pass, choose the hole in the party:
- No one lives on the line → Juggernaut
- No one watches the road → Ghillie
- You play every role → SAS
Then stop shopping. Read loadouts and assign day jobs. Classes do not inspect cars for you.
BETA caution
New kits can land without a blog post. Pyromaniac and Ghillie showed up as store products in mid-August 2026. When that happens again, check the BETA changelog before you trust an old S-tier screenshot.
Default bodies still count. A starter kit that finishes IDs and holds a booth corner is more honest than a 350 fashion class you cannot aim. Rank the player and the role, then the card. The locker does not shoot.
If your party is two people, do not both buy overwatch. One must stay at the bumper. Duo nights die when both officers want the ridge clip. SAS plus an earnable booth kit is a calmer pair than Ghillie plus Ghillie.
When you can name a kit for booth, road, and overwatch without opening the store, you are done with this list. The next argument is money, and that lives on gamepass ranks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers officers ask after every shift.
Can I earn every class with gold?
No. Juggernaut is pass-only. Other kits may be earnable; check the earnable classes page.
Is Ghillie only for snipers?
It is built for overwatch. If you never leave the bumper, buy a booth kit instead.
Should all four officers buy SAS?
No. Cover roles. Four identical ARs leave the road empty.
Does higher HP win the day shift?
No. Day shift is faces and trunks. HP matters after dark.
What should a duo buy?
Not two overwatch kits. One bumper, one angle. SAS plus an earnable booth kit is calmer than Ghillie plus Ghillie.
Is a starter kit actually usable?
Yes. A starter that finishes IDs and holds a corner is more honest than a 350 fashion class you cannot aim.
