Protect the Border Inspection Checklist

Say the lines. Do not invent a fourth order mid-queue.

Inspection Checklist

Print this or pin it. The guides explain why. This page is the booth script you can run when four people are talking. It assumes you already read Getting Started.

Every vehicle

  1. Stop — vehicle in the lane, weapons down.
  2. ID — take the card. See how to check IDs.
  3. Face — portrait, driver, portrait. Call face good or face bad.
  4. Trunk — only after the call. Left to right, then a second look. See how to search trunks.
  5. Goods — call legal or illegal.
  6. Outcome — wave, bribe, cuffs, or ticket. One processor. See suspect processing.
  7. Reset — camera to the next plate. Ammo glance if you fired.

If step 3 is face bad, you may still search, but you do not wave. If step 5 is illegal, you do not skip step 6 because the queue is loud.

Voice calls (keep them short)

  • face good / face bad
  • opening
  • legal / illegal
  • bribe / cuffs / ticket
  • hostile
  • sunset — ninety seconds, jobs change

Sunset block

When someone calls sunset:

  1. Finish the current car only.
  2. No new shop browse.
  3. Fill magazines.
  4. Take night roles: booth, road, overwatch, floater.
  5. Drag leftover suspects out of the lane.

Write names on a notepad. The loadouts page explains the bags. This table is the names.

After a wipe

Answer four questions, nothing else:

  • Which step did we skip?
  • Who was on the road?
  • Who reloaded together?
  • Did a bribe animation eat the start of the raid?

Then change one habit. Do not buy four passes. If you still want to spend, open gamepass value.

What this checklist is not

It is not a legal document. It is not a script. It is not slower than “just vibe it” once the calls are muscle memory. New mobile players should keep controls open on a second phone until interact and fire no longer share a thumb.

Run the seven day steps until they are boring. Boring booths survive Endless. Clever booths invent a new order every car and then ask why the night felt unfair.

Solo officers should still say the calls out loud. It feels silly until you notice you were about to open a trunk before the face. Voice is a lock. Text chat is too slow when the next engine is already in the lane.

If a new player joins mid-shift, paste this page once and assign them trunk or floater, not window. Window is the identity of the crew. Do not hand it to someone who has not read how to check IDs.

When your party can recite the seven steps without opening this tab, you have outgrown the tool. Keep it pinned anyway. The first long Endless day is when people get cute again.

Shift FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers officers ask after every shift.

Can I skip the second trunk look?

Not as a house rule. The second look is the whole point of step 4.

Who calls sunset?

Anyone who sees the sky change. The floater should be watching for it.

What if we are solo?

You run every line. Stop taking new cars ninety seconds before dark.

Is a bribe on the checklist?

Yes, as an outcome, never as a skip of ID or trunk.

Should a new player take the window?

No. Give them trunk or floater until they have read how to check IDs. Window is the identity of the crew.

Why say the calls out loud when I am solo?

Voice is a lock. It stops you opening a trunk before the face when the next engine is already in the lane.
